Love is...

Love is not an emotion.

     It is not a magical notion.

Love is a choice;

     a contract that forms the soil

            out of which devotion grows

                    and bares the fruit of the Spirit

                           and the flowers of our cherished emotions.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way.
